[Case Study of Problem-Solving Proposal] Automatic Stacking and AMR Transport

AMRs can automatically navigate around obstacles while moving towards a set destination, allowing them to share pathways with people.

We would like to introduce a case study of a solution proposal for "automating the stacking of containers and AMR transportation" conducted at a food manufacturer. Before the proposal, the process of transporting empty containers from the storage area, filling them with products, and then transporting the filled containers to the next process was done manually. After the proposal, the stacked containers are transported by AMR, and the packing process is automated using parallel link robots, reducing human tasks to only operating the equipment. This achieved labor and effort reduction. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - Due to the distance between processing spaces, manual labor was required for the container packing tasks and the transportation of containers from the previous to the next process. ■Proposal - Automate the container packing tasks using high-speed parallel link robots. - Reduce the workload of transporting heavy containers by using AMR. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
